Simple Syrup    (printer friendly)



Simple Syrup2 cups sugar
1 cup water


1. Bring the water to a boil, then add the sugar and stir. Once the sugar is fully dissolved, remove the pan from the heat and allow to cool.

Simple syrup can be easily stored in a plastic or glass bottle at room temperature.

The ratio of sugar to water can be left to personal preference, but traditionally it is one part water to two parts sugar.
