    Have you tried the black beans at El Puerco? I prefer them to the “regular” beans.

    This is why I don’t read restaurant reviews for restaurants I can’t get to! Oh oh oh! I am dying for those carnitas…”melting pieces of attached fat on your meat”…I wouldn’t have it any other way :-)

    Laurel, I’m totally embarrassed to say this, but I never even knew El Puerco had a bean option. I love black beans though, so I’m definitely going to try them next time. Thanks so much for the tip!!
