Well, to be honest, I could only stand to taste just the outside of the egg. Seeing as I was at work and a Filipino co-worker brought one in and not a six-pack of Schlitz was anywhere to be found, I kinda wussed out on going the full distance. Basically, the part I tried tasted like a normal, hard-boiled egg.

However, if you’re ever in the Bay Area, you can spot folks selling them at some of the Farmer’s Markets (particularly UN Plaza and Alameny).

I’d be happy to ship some to you!
